One consultant, stated plainly.

Jenga Tech Consulting is the consulting practice of Herman Kapange, a senior software engineer and technology consultant based in Dar es Salaam. Jenga is Swahili for to build, and that's the whole practice: helping organisations build the right thing, build it soundly, and get it delivered.

This is deliberately a founder-led firm, not a pretend agency. When you engage the practice, the person on the call, in the architecture review and behind the report is Herman. A named network of specialist collaborators is brought in transparently where an engagement needs more hands.

The practice works two ways. Directly, for SMEs, NGOs and donor-funded programmes that need advisory, a fractional CTO or delivery management. And as a sub-contracted delivery partner, the route through which several ministry-scale programmes (Tanzania Posts, TTCL, ZICTIA, the National Construction Council, Zanzibar's Ministry of Blue Economy & Fisheries) were delivered. A prime contractor that keeps re-engaging the same engineer for government work is the strongest reference this page can offer.

Product engineering and software delivery contracts run through the sibling company, Handisi Digital Solutions Limited. The split is simple: this practice sells judgment; Handisi ships software. Either way you're working with the same person, under the entity that fits the engagement.
